Schnepf Farms Pima Alumni Party

So Dad had a Pima Alumni party out at Schnepf Farms. We didn't really know what to expect but it was a fun surprise. We had lunch, saw pigs, roosters, peacocks, goats, a donkey, goats, ducks, and got to ride some rides. They have an old carousel that Shelbie thought was really fun. Josie loooove the flying airplanes and made us ride it like 4 times. Emery and I loved the roller coaster the best. And of course Mom loved the flying swings, (dad didn't ride, he thought he was dizzy after the carousel)! We also got to watch a dog and frisbee show, the dogs were amazing! And I won dog treats and a frisbee because I answered this question correctly, What is the best kind of dog in the world? I answered with MY DOG! Too bad I don't have one!

Spring Break Part 2

The second half of the week we went camping with our friends the Gardiner's. We went up Christopher Creek, by the fish hatchery. We loved hiking by the stream and mom got a little camera happy so please just endure!

SPRING BREAK part 1

We started out where every good Spring Break starts out, hanging out at home! We jumped, cleaned, and enjoyed the four walls we call home.

We then loaded in the car and took the 'scenic' (that's short for the long way) to Tombstone.

Then we headed to Kartchner Caverns. Here we spent the night in the RV park. Of course we just had our tent but it was absolutely awesome. They had really clean nice showers and the cave was way cool too. I liked the huge structure at the end of the tour. Emery like the soda straws, and Josie like the sloth in the visitors center. As for Shelbie she slept for the whole tour so. . . . We didn't take pictures because they don't allow you to but I think dad and I decided we should be a cave family and tour as many caves as we can for vacations.

We had a mother daughter party the other day. We were told to come dressed like our mom's dressed when they were 8. So we shopped for days looking for overalls. I love the one up one down thing. Too bad my mom won't let me wear them everyday. I also love that I got to wear a side ponytail without it being in a bun. We had so much fun, we painted our nails, ate, took pictures and played games.

When I'm in a good mood, I love to give kisses! And nothing is better than a kiss with lips stick!

I got to go see my Dad got a ACER award! I'm not sure what it is but the guy by him is someone called a See EEEE O! One of his students told his bosses he is an awesome teacher and so he got the award! The best part was we got to eat lunch with him.

Of course with a house full of girls we have to have a photo shoot after running and playing, 'hurdle over daddy's legs'. So here it is. The design is a Darby exclusive!

Do I have thumbs like Darby?

I really like my new sister, Shelbie. We play together all the time. It usually ends when mom yells at me to get off her. I don't know why we are just playing dog pile! I'm really good help at getting her diapers, sitting her in her bumbo, and I like to give her things to eat (licorice, peaches, crackers, lemons, m&m, you name it!) Here we are sleeping together!

2 Teeth, 1 Grandma, 12 Aunts and Uncles, and $26! That's right, I got my first 2 teeth pulled. I started a collection after my first tooth was pulled to see who would pay to see me get my second tooth pulled and after all was said I did end up with $26. Crazy Cool! I can't wait to loose more.

You know when you want some thing real real bad? And you'd do almost anything for it? For me that thing is a nice slushy piece of heaven called an {otter pop}. That's right, I know, most kids my age don't even know what that is. But being born at 11 lbs I figure I'm just that much more mature, and soooooo much more ready for an {otter pop}! All mine, in pink, green, blue, purple, red, and orange. Mom's milk is definitely second best!

Moms Been Blog Hopping

So after mom's been blog hopping we start getting the itch (whether we want to or not) to post a new post (nag, nag). So mom here's our new post just so our blog can be at the top of someones list.

Dad has been working extra extra hard on the yard (the dirt patch out back). He thinks he is going to make it into an oasis. The other day he hauled us out there and made us shovel, rake, shovel, rake, oh yeah and take turns getting everyone glasses of water (to stay hi-rated). Of course we then get to jump into the pool or go to Bahama Bucks for a Coconut Kolona! However, I am proud to tell you that today (his day off) he tilled the yard and it looks like we'll be planting this next week.

Guess what else he did today! He brought us lunch at school. He wasn't to hip on eating the cafeteria food so he sent mom for a hot-and-ready and a bottle of what he calls the nectar of the gods (root beer), showered in the middle of his oasis turning chores, and road his bike to school to have lunch first with Emery then with me. I know my dad is the BEST!

Here we are ready for school. Emery forgot her lunch and got lost after school but other than that it was a pretty good day. I have Miss Jones and Emery has Mrs. Zuchichi. Mom says Josie and Shelbie enjoyed their 1st day by themselves too. We are riding our bikes to school this year as you can tell by the pictures.

This is us girls by Lee's Ferry! We stopped on our way to Kanab. Dad says t has something to do with pioneers and where they crossed this river on a boat. It was pretty cool have the river was clear or kind of green and the other half was muddy because another river ran into it. We enjoyed the break from the car. Thanks Dad

Okay so I had to put my two cents in on the girls blog! I was writing letter for their teachers tonight, you know the ones where you have to put things like what they like to do, things that will help the teacher teach the kids, stuff like that. I was talking to Shane and asking him what I should right and I got to thinking how different both Darby and Emery are. Darby loves the spot light and while Emery likes it she does not require it and in fact will often let anyone else be the better at whatever IT may be. Darby does the work and does a pretty good job but nothing really sinks in while Emery seems to be dumber than a post until one day a week down the road when she asks an amazing question and your realize she is just absorbing all the information and departmentalizing it all into very organized files. Emery has to be given very detailed instructions while Darby is learning to branch out and think for herself. It has been so fun to be with them this summer and I am sooo upset that my time with them is already over. I need more time! They are growing up tooo fast!

How can it be over? Summer I mean. I just started to enjoy sleeping in and getting bored during the days! I think we only got to stay in our PJ all day, like twice this summer!

We just went to meet the teacher night and both Emery and I have great teachers! I got Miss Jones and Emery got Mrs. Zichichi. Mom still calls her Mrs. Zucchini, I wonder how long that will last.

Dive Team

So we have been working on dive this summer, we get up and go to practice every morning at 8:00. Then on Saturdays we have meets. Darby had to miss our first one because of her broken arm but she has done pretty well. We've learned to do front flips, back flips, back 1/2 twists, front dives and back dives. We practice at home using the ottomans as our diving board so Jo gets in on the action too. It has been fun to learn a new sport. Darby and I have a pretty colorful wall of ribbons from our meets. We both qualified to got to finals but we headed to Sherwood Forest instead! Maybe next year!

Crazy Summer Fun in February

Saturday we went on this really long bike ride. On our way home we passed the pool and Darby and I decided we'd really like a dip in the pool (no it's not heated). Mom said that if we just jumped in, no testing the water, we could go. So we road home got our swimsuits and our towels and headed to the pool. I know swimming in February what are we thinking. Well, I kind of forgot how to swim the first time I jumped in, check the video it explains it all. However, after our first dunk we swam for 45 minutes, Mom made us get out because it was getting dark. Boy was she smart, a few more minutes and we would have froze on our way home. When we walked in the door it was about 7:00 PM! It was fun and CRAZY.

Man I need to find some better pictures of me! I really just wanted to share with all of you how unfair my mother is! The other day she took away all of our scissors, pens, pencils, markers, papers, glue, you name it she hid it. She called it taking away our privileges, I call it grounding. When I suggested to her that if she could take our privileges away for not taking care of our stuff we should be able to do the same to her. The conversation went like this, "Mom, I think if you don't take care of all the stuff in the kitchen your food allergies (privileges) should be taken away!" After she looked at me totally confused, then laughed, and said I don't think so. I don't get it, why can we get our privileges taken away but not hers.

Okay so I started to put pictures but they were a bit graphic but, that won't keep me from telling you all about it. We were playing dress up one night. Darby and I would change clothes and come show Mom, Dad and Jo. I had got into the little bathroom to change, you know the one Mom has decorated all "African". Well I had just put back on my nightgown, and went to turn off the light when that stupid little elephant decided he didn't like me in his way and he poked my bum bum with his tusk. Can you believe that? He even drew blood. I screamed so Mom and Dad would come and give him the talking to of his life but they got there and just started laughing. Needless to say all of us girls look pretty funny. I can't sit, Jo has sores everywhere, and Darby has stitches!

Okay so Darby thinks she knows pain! She has no idea. You should have seen the crap I got. It was like viral cold sores coated my mouth, then spread to my fingers and even a couple of spots on my head. Thankfully, the doctor gave me some good pain killer, I think Mom would have had my hide if not. Even though it was really contagious no one else got it, whew!

Don't Play Ball in the House

Yea, yea I know Mom has told me a gazillion times to not play ball in the house but when Dad is wanting to play it's really hard to not play. I went for a ball and my feet went one way my chin when the other and I hit it on the tile floor. Mom asked Sister Rassmussen our neighbor to watch the other girls and they (Mom and Dad) took me to an urgent care by our house. I received some good pain killers and 7 stitches. I'm still debating whether or not I want a scar it would be a cool battle wound but I might not like it so much on my wedding day.

Today was my dance recital. We have the neatest teacher, we get to play all sorts of games. My favorites is monsters. We walk around on our tip toes while the dragon is asleep (lights off) so we won't wake him. But he wakes we have to fun to the corner. It's a good way to practice walking on our toes.

Saturday was so much fun. Dad told us that since I finally learned to ride my bike with no tears, and no training wheels that we could take the 2 mile ride (1-way) to the dog park! While I was at school mom took Emery to Saver's to find some princess outfits! I got this new black skirt and Emery got a Belle dress. We got to put on make-up, and wear mom's jewelry. Mom even let me wear a tiara. Mom said she was to fat to be anything but a Hawaiian princess but I think it makes her look fun. We had fun making cupcakes, and reading princess stories.

Yep, Allee and I decided to coach Darby's T-ball team. We have had a blast. The kids have been so fun and we've enjoyed being silly as well. We went and got matching shorts and our nails done (I have no idea what what having our nails done has to do with T-ball but it was still fun)
